I considered that a photo captures a single moment in time. But as I learnt to use my camera I discovered a moment can be enduring. Point the lens to the stars and open the shutter for half a minute – a shooting star leaves its trail above the trees; trees lit up by friends around a glowing campfire. The Milky Way and whatever is beyond our galaxy. But before I can dwell on its vastness a little black adventure cat circles my legs telling me it’s time for bed.
