Steph, Willow, and I have had a great weekend up the Sunshine Coast enjoying the beaches and catching up with family. We didn’t take that many photos I’m afraid, but here’s a snap of Willow and I at the dog beach at Noosa. We walked down to meet Steph who had just come in on the paddle board. We all sat on the board together in the shallows and watched the sunset, with Willow popping her head out of her bag to see what the silly dogs were up to. Maybe somewhere quieter she would be up for an adventure on the water?
We have been very lucky to have found ourselves in Queensland during the pandemic. The state has handled the response very well and we are now rewarded with freedom to travel in-state. The new case count remains near zero most weeks and we are hoping for the best for the other states that are affected.
With the state border closures currently in place our end of year plans are somewhat up in the air. Steph finishes studying in November when we plan to say goodbye to our Brisbane base and hit the road full-time once again. Where we go will depend on which borders are open.
But here’s the thing..
We are very lucky – it doesn’t matter where we end up because we will have each other in our home on wheels. That’s what counts right? We hope you are staying safe, where ever in the world you are.
