Willow did a few laps of the hut before settling on the windowsill. A perfect spot to watch the sun set!

This little building may look like it’s been sitting on this outback plain for a century but it was in fact built in 2015 as a set for the film Goldstone. What a cool place to camp!

Today we visited the Pelican Monument in Winton, Queensland! Though, we didn’t see any actual pelicans.

When you’re checking out an abandoned building in the middle of the outback and hear a noise outside!

200km down the road in Birdsville, about 7000 people attended the races on the weekend. Instead, we enjoyed our final days in Bedourie, with one last visit to their racecourse. This weekend Bedourie will have their races, but we will have already left town.

Cats, though largely domesticated, are still masters of camouflage. Here we see a mini house panther using fallen leaves to blend in seamlessly with her local environment.

During the dry season in Queensland, Green Tree Frogs will search for wet environments to survive. Many take up residence in homes and even find their way into your toilet!
