First Episode in our new Video Series

I can hardly believe that it was 3 years ago when Willow and I first left our home town in our little campervan. It was in May 2015 we travelled to Melbourne on the ferry to start our adventure around Australia. That’s over a thousand nights on the road!

Though we returned to Tasmania in November 2017 to visit family and enjoy the summer we have now left again retracing some of our original steps.

Can you believe I didn’t even have a camera back when we first started our adventure? Things have changed now. On this next adventure I will be taking lots of video and piecing together our daily life so we can best share our story with you.

The video above reintroduces Willow and I and talks a little about what it took to transition from career life to van life. You will also see our most recent passage from Devonport to Melbourne on the Spirit of Tasmania ferry. I have used this footage to help tell the story of how we first left Tasmania.

Travelling with pets on the ferry is worrisome at best. I was so glad to get to the other side and find that Willow had had a safe voyage remaining in our van.

In subsequent videos you will see how I turned our van into a tiny home on wheels, what daily life is like living with an adventure cat, and you’ll see a new story unfold as we travel deep into the Australian outback.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank you for following our adventures. It means the world to us to have your support and to help share the life of this extraordinary little black adventure cat named Willow!

For now we are enjoying our trip North as we travel slowly up to central Queensland. We are going to see some great places and it’s truly going to be an amazing year for us. Remember to subscribe to our mailing list below so you don’t miss a thing!
