You won’t believe where we are living now!

How cute is this little campsite? We parked under this beautiful old fig tree and put our lounges out. Willow enjoyed sniffing around the grasses.

Our friends in Australia will know that NSW has been dealt some serious storms this week. We just wanted to let you know that we are all safe and happy, although maybe a little damp!

Not often in our nomadic wanderings do we know what our plans are more than a few days ahead, but we have a small announcement for you. We will be spending summer on a blueberry and avocado farm (that’s where the photo was taken – before the rains hit). Apart from eating a whole lot of them, we will also be blueberry picking for the owners who are a lovely family that manage the 190 hectare farm on the Comboyne Plateau near Port Macquarie.

Despite the rains preventing work we have had 4 sunny days where we were picking and have had a blast in the process. I’m looking forward to sharing our experiences here and also as we use the farm as a base for our exploring of the local area.

I’m really excited to be able to show you this spectacular part of Australia so prepare yourself for many shots of Willow enjoying farm life, local waterfalls and forests, and maybe even some blueberry recipes!
